Challenge

PWM had a large base of RGB LED boards installed at customers around the world, but no visibility into how those devices were actually performing in the field. Failures only surfaced once a board had already stopped working — so proactive maintenance was impossible.

Solution

We built a system that remotely reads each board’s technical readings — temperature, brightness, voltage and failures — and collects them centrally. A Raspberry Pi diagnostic tool captures the data on site and streams it securely via MQTT and AWS IoT to a Python backend that analyses it and flags anomalies.

Result

PWM now has a real-time overview of every device in the field — worldwide. Problems are spotted before a board fails, so maintenance can be planned predictively instead of reactively.
